Activists Plan ‘Massive’ Sit-In In Downtown Greenville
GREENVILLE, S.C —Greenville area activists are planning a “massive” sit-in protest in downtown Greenville. They’re demanding a citizen review board that will investigate complaints against police, but the chief said that board already exists.
“This is not that we’re angry black people. We have meaningful, real concerns and it seems like the city is not taking those concerns seriously,” said Bruce Wilson, founder of Fighting Injustice Together.
